CTE funding for middle school programs

Fellow Trustees,

As we discussed CTE funding as an agenda item for the February board meeting, I am wondering if district staff can put forth a timeline as there is a deadline associated with the funds. I am in favor of creating an Advisory Committee that includes a combination of teachers, parents and district staff as soon as possible. Community input is critical for strategic investment in this area. I am asking for your thoughts on how we can make our future board discussion on CTE programs more fruitful.
